The glass insert measures in centimetres and inches and one millimetre of measured precipitation is the equivalent of one litre of rainfall per metre squared. Made of Cast Iron. This rain gauge can be inserted into your garden safely by simply inserting the spiked end into a grassed area. Measurements: 10 x 94 x 8.5cm
